Road To Hana

There is nothing like the Road to Hana. This 9-11 hour adventure takes you on a journey across multiple climate zones as you travel around the base of the mighty 10,000-foot Haleakala. Make a trip like this in style while making stops at amazing places like a black sand beach, waterfall pools, incredible windswept plains, dizzying cliffs, and quaint farm stands. Add-on stops at caves, botanical gardens, and more.

Central Maui & Upcountry

Tour through the beautiful central and upcountry Maui, travel across the mountains for great views, beautiful farms, historic towns, wonderful galleries, and cultural sites. In most of the land tours on Oahu, you only get to pass by some of these historic locations, seeing them from the vehicle windows as we drive by. You can stop and look around the historic buildings and statues on this tour, including the famed Kamehameha The Great Statue. Walk around the outside of Iolani palace, exploring the grounds of the only royal palace in the United States. Do more on a private tour. Let us know what you want to see.

Explore the best of Oahu with a private guide in a private vehicle(s) suited for your group size. We provide tours in jeeps, minivans, Cadillac Escalades, Mercedes sprinters, and luxury mini-coaches. We can handle groups from 2 to 100+ depending on what you want to do and where you want to go.

Your tour day includes a vehicle(s) for your group, a private guide, and 8-9 hours of touring time. We provide tickets to Arizona Memorial, the most visited attraction on Oahu, and provide lots of opportunities to stop at many great places around the island. That includes the Dole Plantation, North Shore Oahu Beaches, Macadamia Nut Farm, Pali lookout, blow-hole, and so much more.

For a small extra fee per person, you can also visit places like the Byodo-in temple, Polynesian Cultural Center, and/or Waimea Valley. At Pearl Harbor, we can take extra time to visit the Battleship Missouri, Bowfin Submarine, and the Pacific Aviation Museum, too.

Tour stops may change due to weather, construction or other unavoidable circumstances for the safety of our guests.

This tour is available every day of the year. Certain locations are not open on certain days of the week, so please choose your day carefully. We aim to provide you with the best day on Oahu, so please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Hanauma Bay is not accessible by private tour.
Polynesian Cultural Center is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays.

** Due to ceremonies honoring the attacks of December 7, 1941, we will not operate tours to Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial on December 7 each year **

You can choose where you would like to have lunch. If you plan to go around the island, we have many great places, including Haleiwa Joes, Kahuku Sugar Mill, or the famous North Shore food trucks.

Please dress for all weather. A light jacket and closed-toe shoes are recommended. Bags are not allowed into Pearl Harbor, although you can leave it in our tour vehicle where it will be quite safe.

If you need to cancel your tour, please do so 72 hours prior to the tour starting for a full refund. If you are within 72 hours, there is no refund.

There is a 50% cancellation fee for tours that include flights or a $100 change fee for flights if you make any changes to your flights or tour day made 72 hours after your initial booking.

Can I Get A Refund If I Cancel My Tour?

We have a strict 72-hour cancellation policy and no refund is given after that time. Anytime before that, we provide a 100% refund on your tour so you can book now without any worry if your plans change.

How Big Of A Group Can We Handle?

There is no group that is too large for us to organize a private tour for. Our biggest vehicles are 24 passenger mini-buses so your group will be split across multiple vehicles. For even larger groups, we will work with one of our transportation providers, so you get the best experience possible. We do specialize in groups under 12 and provide tours using our Jeeps, SUVs, Minivans and Mercedes Sprinter vans.

I Want To Do The Road To Hana, How Many Hours Is That?

The road to Hana takes about 10 hours if you make a lot of stops for only a little bit of time. We recommend adding more time at checkout if you are planning to hit a number of places like the caves or botanical gardens. You donʻt want to rush to some of these places. The tour starts on pickup so if your tour starts in Kapalua, be prepared for a 12-hour day.

Do Any Of Your Vehicles Have Washrooms On-Board?

None of the vehicles that travel the road to Hana are large enough to have a washroom inside. There are many stops along the way that have questionable cleanliness. The guides will make sure to find you all the clean bathroom stops at the right times when you need them. They even have extra toilet paper and cleaning supplies too!

Do You Provide Tours From The Cruise Ships?

We provide private tours from the cruise ships docking at Kahului and tethering at Lahaina. Doing a full tour to Hana from Lahaina is sometimes not possible due to available time. A tour needs at least 10 hours to get to Hana and back at a comfortable pace. We always customize the tours for our guests’ expectations and timing. We want you to have the best day on Maui.
