Nā Pali Sunset Cruise or Sail Tour Features
Nā Pali Coastline Features
The world-renowned Nā Pali Coast is a fifteen-mile stretch of coastline on the northwestern shore of Kauai. This rugged, remote area is known for its otherworldly 3,500-foot tall cliffs that border the sea and hold marvelous natural treasures best viewed from the ocean. We will bring you up close to view volcanic sea caves, waterfalls, and lush valleys normally hidden by the massive mountain ridges. Keep your eyes peeled on the horizon for migrating humpback whales that frequently make an appearance during the winter and spring months!
Choose A Sailing or Power Catamaran
Your adventure can begin on one of our two luxurious catamarans. Leila is a 50-foot sailing catamaran that features level-sailing capabilities, never experiencing more than 10 degrees of heel. Holo Holo is our swift 65-foot power catamaran, that reaches fast speeds without compromising comfort. Both of our vessels have ample space to move about and get incredible vantage points of the Nā Pali coastline. While both vessels are rated to hold more, we value your comfort and therefore limit capacity to 49 guests aboard Holo Holo and 37 guests aboard Leila. Both tour options feature the same sights and buffet options, just differing in your choice of vessel and tour duration.
3.5 Hours on the Beautiful Waters of Hawaii
The real star of the show is the ocean and the beautiful sunset that will cast vivid colors over it. As the sun sinks low, reds and golds will seem to stretch out over the world. The 3.5 hours this tour lasts for will allow you to really experience the change in scenery from evening into night, and give you time to relax and drink in the ocean views.

After checking in at our base camp, we load up on our four-wheel drive off-road vehicles for a tour through Lihue Plantation lands. Our exclusive access to this facility gives you a rare glimpse of a century’s old industry that help to shape the Hawaii of today.
Guided by our highly knowledgeable local staff you’ll be shown the History of the rainforest you’re walking through and learn of the foliage and animals who call it home.
We continue our journey toward the Lihue plantation’s 100-year-old irrigation system where our water tubes await us. Once there, we’ll begin our trek down the waterway through five darkened tunnels and beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
Our tour concludes with lunch and an optional swim at a pristine jungle waterhole where you can continue to enjoy should you choose to.

Frequently Asked Questions
What Is The Difference Between The Cruise Or Sail Options?
The option to Sail aboard Leila, our 50-foot sailing catamaran starts 30 minutes earlier and has a duration of 4 hours. Cruising aboard Holo Holo, our larger 65-foot power catamaran is a faster ride with a duration of 3.5 hours. Both tour options feature the same tasty buffet dinner and sights seen along the way.
How Likely Is It To See A Humpback Whale?
Humpback whales mate and migrate off this coastline between December and April. Sightings can’t be guaranteed as mother nature can be unpredictable, but we promise to try our best to help you lay eyes on this gentle giant!
What Can I Do To Prevent Seasickness?
We would suggest taking a preventative medication such as Dramamine to help prevent seasickness and nausea. Drinking plenty of water, eating ginger candies, and wearing acupressure wrist bands can help as well. If you do begin to feel sick, remember to keep your eyes on the horizon and get some fresh air!
